" MY ENGINE IN MY DRIFT FREAK "


"SR20DET REDTOP"

ENGINE SPECS:

  • Displacement: 1998cc (2.0 liter)

  • Cam Type: DOHC 16 valve, chain driven cam sprockets

  • Bore & Stroke 86mm x 86mm

  • Compression: 8.5:1

  • Horsepower: 205ps @ 6000rpm

  • Torque: 203 ft/lbs @ 4000rpm

  • Stock Boost: 7 psi

  • Throttle Body Bore: 60mm

  • Injector Size: 370cc/min

  • Turbo Specs:

  • Compressor: T-25, 60 trim 56mm BCI-1 compressor.

  • Turbine: T-25, 62 trim 53.8mm 0.64 A/R turbine housing.

  • Center Section: Journal bearings

  • Performance:
    The stock turbo will be safe to 13-15 psi. After that, the turbo is past its efficiency range, and power increases will fall off and are not worth the risk of turbo damage. The engine should produce 230-250 RWHP at safe boost.


  • Engine installed in my Drift^Freak is SR20DET Red Top. Engine specifications of the engine can calculate on how much Horsepower this SR20DET is in stock. Next project will be upgrading of engine from safety equipments to a hyper boost in turbo...

    Main Target for engine modifications will be a Major drift setting and Major drift Tuning...
    Yehaaaa...So be ready and drift time is on...

    "HMMM..PIGGYBAG HKS F-CON S OR STANDALONE MICROTECH ECU"


    HKS F-CON S ECU PIGGYBAG
    It gives the person the flexibility to fine-tune their fuel and ignition for optimum performance for different stages of upgrades/tune. It can also be used to fine-tune a standard car without any modifications done to it up until a moderately to highly tuned car.

    It is very rarely that the fuel and ignition is optimized for each car for every weather or climatic condition for different parts of the world.

    The end result of a custom fuel and ignition map for ones car is that the cars will produce more power, response/acceleration, the engine will be smoother, less coarse or strained and allow for better fuel economy.

    For moderately tuned to highly tuned cars, the F Con S provides the tuner with very precise fuel and ignition control which in turn allows the tuner to fully utilize the engine upgrades that they have installed.

    The MicroTech MT-Series Electronic Control Unit is a microprocessor-based computer, which the user can
    program to meet the specific running demands of an engine.
    Your MicroTech ECU comes fitted with a computer chip which was factory set with a basic program to suit your
    engine. This should enable you to start the engine as soon as you plug the ECU in. However this is only a basic
    program and as every engine is different, fine-tuning will be necessary to achieve best results.
    The new LT-Series Laptop interface Software now allows for tuning to be done with either a laptop computer or
    by the MicroTech Handset. This instruction manual explains all the functions of the LT software, and how to use
    the Laptop Interface to adjust each of these functions and optimise the performance of your engine.

    For my next bodywork project will be a Major S15 conversion to My Drift^Freak.
    In terms of using original 200sx body is ok but making a great upgrade on bodyworks to my car will be a great project. An upgrade for Drift Style.
    More Smart and Rugged looking Drift style for any 200sx in Brunei.
    Project will start soon and make it a good suprise for everyone.

    "BASICS ON HOW TO DRIFT"

    You drift by following theese steps:
    1. Steer in your desired direction
    2. Lightly hit the brake
    3. Pull hard on the E-Brake
    4. Countersteer
    5. Feather the gas (or you'll be cooked).
    Practice theese direction, and you'll be a master drifter in no time.
    How i learned is if your in a manual transmission car is to:
    1. Steer in the desired direction
    2. Hit the brake
    3. Pull up the handbrake
    4. Press the clutch all the way in
    5. Turn in the opposing direction
    6. Put the handbrake back down
    7. Let off the clutch and get back on the gas
